Her Royal Birthday Heiness!

Happy 1st Birthday Mary Patton!! We have had a great few days celebrating our little angel's very first birthday ever! Wednesday (the 21st) was her birthday, a beautiful day we spent playing outside and getting in some really good naps (at least she did), and then we all headed out for dinner with our beloved friends Hal and Charlotte. They brought her this adorable crown and bib, a precious stuffed bear, and a bag FULL of cute summer outfits! Could they BE any sweeter? :) The crown was fitting - we discovered Mary Patton shares her birthday with none other than the Queen of England! I'm thinking that explains the wave.... Her royal heiness had chicken for supper...

Saturday we had Mary Patton's party!! Missing family so much, but so thankful to have loving friends with us to celebrate!

Mary Patton's friend Evey is ONE!

Mary Patton's first little friend Evey will be ONE on the 15th and they had her birthday party today! Evey's mom Asher and I were sorority sisters at Auburn, and we found each other here in Austin a few weeks before the girls were born. What timing!! We have had so much fun together this year and can't wait for more. Asher and her husband Mark are expecting #2 in May! A little boy this time, so we will have a whole new adventure ahead. The party today was so much fun - and Evey dove into her cake just like we hoped! She was covered in icing! :) Can't believe Mary Patton will be one next month!!

The Bandana Ball!

Our neighbors Andy & Ashley invited us to the "Bandana Ball" this past Saturday night! We actually had our first night out with a babysitter!! Only took us 10 months.... Everything went really well and we had so much fun. The Bandana Ball is the annual fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House in Texas. The food was amazing, the band was awesome, and it was really inspiring to learn about the Ronald McDonald house. Ashley and I got to sport our cowgirl boots and the guys showed off the belt buckles! Great night out with super-cool neighbors! Can't wait to do it again!
